WELCOME TO CASTT : SA CHAPTER

Council of Australian Secondary Tourism Teachers (SA Chapter)
is a professional association for secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.

CASTT aims to:

Provide a forum and common meeting ground for secondary Tourism, Hospitality and Vocational Educators
Promote an improved information flow and greater co-operation and understanding between them, industry bodies and personnel from businesses within the Tourism and Hospitality industries, relevant government bodies and post secondary educators and trainers
Link secondary educators with post school educators and trainers, government bodies and Tourism / Hospitality industry
Allow for an expression of a common voice on educational matters in the interests of secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT 2010

SACE TRAINING WORKSHOPS Term 3 & Term 4

Thursday 26th August 4.30pm-7pm
Venue: Glenunga International High School

At this workshop CASTT will release a new resource package for Tourism teachers of SACE Stage 1 & 2.
Resources have been prepared in line with the SACE curriculum.

Tuesday 16th November 4.30pm -7pm
Venue: Valley View Secondary School

This workshop is designed for those wanting to write their

Learning & Assessment Plan in readiness for Stage 2 in 2011.
