Council of Australian Secondary Tourism Teachers (SA Chapter)
is a professional association for secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.

OBJECTIVES

CASTT aims to:
  • Provide a forum and common meeting ground for secondary Tourism, Hospitality and Vocational Educators
  • Promote an improved information flow and greater co-operation and understanding between them, industry bodies and personnel from businesses within the Tourism and Hospitality industries, relevant government bodies and post secondary educators and trainers
  • Link secondary educators with post school educators and trainers, government bodies and Tourism / Hospitality industry
  • Allow for an expression of a common voice on educational matters in the interests of secondary teachers of Tourism and Hospitality.

REGIONAL STUDY DAY TOURS / FAMILS

(1) GOURMET GOOLWA REGIONAL FAMIL
Saturday MAY 1st ( Term 2 Week 2 )
Note: new date

* Includes visits to tourism niche market sites, Narnu Farm and
Goolwa Visitor Information Centre

(2) BAROSSA VALLEY REGION
Saturday, MAY 29th
(Term 2 Week 6 )

* Includes Orientation visit to the 5 Star Accommodation site, the Louise and Appellation Restaurant,
emerging B&B's, niche' market sites and a boutique winery.
Lunch will be held at Angaston's Roaring 40's Pizza Bar.

These famils are prepared in a manner suited to adaptation for use with students studying Senior Tourism / Hospitality. Watch this space for further details.
